Remembrance Day

The Parish Council will be holding their Annual Remembrance Day Service in St. Gomonda’s Church, Roche, commencing with a march through the village with Roche Brass meeting at Roche Victory Hall Car Park at 2.15pm to march off at 2.30pm to arrive at the Church at 3.00pm for the Service. We will be having the school children doing their annual reading and then the Choir we had last year with Reverend Canon Paul Arthur leading the service. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Roche Victory Hall Car Park Resurfacing

A tender was recently approved from Bob Thomas Tarmacadam by the Parish Council for re-surfacing works in the Roche Victory Hall Car Park, it will be nice to see the area tidied up as it is used by a lot of organisations, work will commence in due course.

Tennis Counts

Work has recently been carried out in the Tennis Courts, next to the Roche Sports & Social Club by Steve Udy of Underground Connections Limited by removing some of the unsafe floodlights and the grassed area being cut back. The remainder of the floodlights will be removed in due course. Steve Udy did this free of charge for the Parish Council.

Many thanks Steve for this from the Parish Council so far and we look forward to the remainder being removed in due course.
